Updates:

-Our first learning together session will be next Wednesday (9th October) from 8:50-9:50. The focus for our first session will be PSED and the Characteristics of Effective Learning. I look forward to seeing you there! :)

-We will be starting our P.E sessions on Tuesday 15th October. Please can you  label all clothing in your child's P.E kit so we can ensure all clothing is returned correctly if misplaced.

-We aim to change reading books on a Tuesday and Friday. Please can you ensure your child's reading book and record are returned with a comment/signature so we can give them a new book to read. Please continue to practise the Phase 2 tricky words that were sent home in your child's bookbag at the start of term. These will support your child in both their reading and writing. Thank you!

What a SUPER start reception class have had already! They have settled in brilliantly to the new class and school routines and have impressed all of the teachers with their lovely walking feet and super sitting! We have a fun-filled and busy term ahead where the children will be learning all about themselves and their family. They have already completed some lovely creative learning where they have painted a self-portrait and drawn pictures of themselves and their family.
